little people figuresEach piece in the Disney Princess under Little People series of Fisher-Price series is very detailed in itself. Each room or accessory of the Palace takes cues from the movie to paint a beautiful picture of the Princess room in the movie. For example, Rapunzel’s tower has floating lanterns and a baby Pascal painted on the wall, just like main points of the movie. The fairies from Sleeping Beauty are present in the bedroom, and there’s a room dedicated to Cinderella too. Thus by looking at different places of the Palace, the kids can directly relate to the character it subtly refers to. This ensures that when you have collected all the Princesses and the characters, the toddler or preschooler knows which figure goes where in the Princess Palace. A seahorse has a very peculiar way of travelling as the movie on Little Mermaid shows, the seahorse with Ariel’s Coach taking Ariel and Eric to the Palace, and Sebastian too, makes movements in the same way. It tends to swim with its tail. With the same detailed work as seen in the movie, the preschoolers can let their imagination loose and create their own stories involving the characters. This lets them play endlessly with these figures and be creative.

All products from Disney under Little People series run on batteries, different types for different pieces, but they are nothing like your regular toys. They are sturdy and won’t break down easily. Each of the toys is made keeping long-term playing power by toddlers and preschoolers in mind. Since a variety of Princesses and figures are available to kids offering several hours of play with the Palace; and figures can easily integrate them into imaginative story lines. When Palace’s teapot in kitchen makes a sound, kids would know that the tea is prepared; they will make their stories around it. A Princess Palace is bound to get some visitors and many people make an exit too from time-to-time when their visit comes to an end, door in front of the Princess Songs Palace makes a royal sound when the door opens or closes. This lets the Palace’s occupants know that some one has come or left the Palace. Also, since the Princesses behave differently while they’re ‘on’ or ‘off’ the dance floor, going ‘up’ the elevator or ‘down’ the elevator, ‘open’ or ‘close’ of the door, it helps the kid learn about actual spatial relationships.
